1,5 jours de tournage ont été nécessaires pour ce film de formation de 18 minutes.
J’ai accompagné deux apiculteurs dans les grandes étapes de la production de gelée royale. Pendant ces étapes, les apiculteurs commentent leurs gestes et donnent également des conseils.
C’est un film de formation plutôt didactique avec des schémas explicatifs mais je souhaitais que le film se regarde comme un documentaire. C’est pourquoi, il y a des passages d’interviews où les apiculteurs témoignent de leurs expériences et apportent leur point de vue sur cette filière.

Le tournage bien qu’agréable et très enrichissant a été assez délicat !
Julie Legrand, chargée de missions au GPGR, m’avait demandé si j’avais peur des abeilles. Effectivement, je n’en ai pas peur et je ne fais pas partie des personnes qui s’agitent en en voyant UNE !
Mais lorsque vous vous retrouvez entourée de CENTAINES d’abeilles qui se posent sur votre combinaison avec un bourdonnement très fort, ce n’est pas pareil !
Sans oublier, qu’il faisait très chaud ce jour-là ! Il fallait donc supporter une combinaison par-dessus une couche de vêtements (double protection)
Malgré toutes ces précautions, je me suis quand même fait piquer (souvenir de tournage) en faisant bêtement un plan large des ruches et bien sûr en ne prenant pas soins de remettre mon voile…je pensais être assez loin…et bien non !
Un des apiculteurs m’a confié qu’il se faisait piquer facilement une fois par jour mais qu’il était habitué ! Confidence divulguée à la fin du tournage, heureusement !
